Church Community Explores Youth Homelessness

More than 30 Corpus Christi parishioners attended a forum on the growing crisis of youth homelessness in Ramsey County before Mass last Sunday (Oct. 28). It was the second of two such forums organized by the Corpus Christ Social Justice Committee. Mike Rios-Keating (at right, holding microphone), community education advocate for Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, led the discussion and outlined ways that we can make a difference in advocating for young people challenged by inadequate housing.

The committee’s November forums will cover the related topic of affordable housing. Our speaker will be Corpus Christi parishioner and former Roseville Mayor Craig Klausing.
