Catholic Spirit Recognizes Corpus Christi Parishioners for Affordable Housing Efforts

Three longtime Corpus Christi members are featured prominently in the Catholic Spirit’s recent series on the church’s response to homelessness. The weekly archdiocesan newspaper’s Oct. 18 story, Local parishes help provide leadership for affordable housing, describes Craig Klausing’s efforts to launch the Roseville Housing Network to support affordable housing projects in the city and also quotes Amy Barrett, who spoke in support of such a project in front of the Roseville City Council.

An earlier installment of the series, Parishes help build houses, provide for the needs of the homeless, focused on Jim Colten’s leadership in Holy Hammers, a coalition of 15 faith communities who build houses with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
