Our Sunday School Program meets on Sundays from 10 to 11am from September through April. Children join their families at Mass for the Liturgy of the Eucharist immediately following classroom activities. All parish children, Preschool through Grade 5 are welcomed and encouraged to register for this program regardless of what school they attend.
During Sunday School, children will hear the Gospel story for the week and focus on one topic of Catholic teaching/culture. All Sunday School children will learn and/or practice important Catholic prayers throughout the year.
Advent, Lenten, and Social Justice projects are also an important component of the Sunday School learning curriculum. Advent and Lenten activities help the children learn and grow in their Catholic faith. Social Justice projects are designed to make children aware of others in their community and throughout the world, and how their actions can make a difference.
A Nursery, staffed by parent and youth volunteers from our parish is available during the 10:30am Mass on Sundays when Sunday School is in session. The Nursery is located in the school wing.
