Father Robert Fitzpatrick
As of July 1st Fr. Fitz is no longer at Corpus Christi but is now retired from active ministry
Fr Robert Fitzpatrick, aka “Fr Fitz,” came to Corpus Christi as pastor in July, 2012. This was a result of the retirement of the former pastor, Fr Frank Fried, and the decision of the Archdiocese to cluster the two parishes in Roseville under one pastor. Fr Fitzpatrick had already been pastor of Saint Rose of Lima in Roseville since July, 2005. Even though the two parishes work together in collaboration on many events, Fr Fitz is very supportive of the uniqueness of the Corpus Christi community, it’s members, it’s mission, and it’s liturgy. Fr Fitz’s seminary training began in the Documents of Vatican II, and continued on to ordination in 1973. He served a huge variety of people as an associate pastor at Saint Olaf Church in downtown Minneapolis for four years, served as both associate pastor and full time youth minister at Holy Spirit parish in Saint Paul for seven years, and was pastor of Saint John’s in Little Canada for twenty one years before coming to Roseville. Look for his welcoming smile when you come to be with us at Corpus Christi.
