Corpus Christi supports the charities listed below, as well as asking parishioner’s participation in several charity projects throughout the year.
Keystone Community Services
Keystone provides local assistance for those in need of food, rental assistance, housing, heat, counseling, and other forms of support for low income individuals and families, at-risk school age children and youth, seniors, and the disabled. Individual case workers are also provided.
Loaves & Fishes Ministry at Dorothy Day Center
Every second Tuesday of the month, Corpus Christi parishioners prepare, and serve dinner to the homeless guests at Catholic Charities’ Dorothy Day shelter. Corpus Christi also offers monetary support throughout the year.
The Leisure Center is an ecumenical gathering for seniors that is housed in the St. Anthony Park United Methodist Church every Wednesday. Corpus Christi parishioners serve lunch, make crafts, and participate in seasonal parties throughout the year. Corpus Christi collaborates with the surrounding area churches to fund Leisure Center activities.
Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul
Corpus Christi is a member of Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul, a faith based organization that works to overcome poverty, promote peace and dismantle racism. In addition to our financial support, Corpus Christi collaborates with them on charity projects and Project Home.
